Davaar & Co.

This ‘farm to fashion’ brand craft stunningly functional sheep’s wool jerseys that are deeply connected to their family’s history while being reimagined for the modern lifestyle. Purposeful, premium, and pride were defining drivers behind this brand identity, and is one that aims to tell the New Zealand wool story with respect and gratitude for the creatures that make it.

"Wow, everything is just so stunning! It's exactly how I envisioned the brand... in fact, better! Thank you so much." —Kate Macdonald, Owner, Davaar & Co.

Given Davaar & Co.’s jersey collection is inspired by the ol’ Homespun jersey, it was only fitting that the brand payed homage to this by acknowledging the 100+ year old family farm, Davaar Station. The colours of their land, the sheep that freely roam them, and even old wool bale stencils influenced the design decisions and ground the overall aesthetic.

The balance of rustic farm life and a love of high-quality fashion was the perfect way to showcase the very best that sheep’s wool has to offer. Inherently functional with a premium flair, this brand offers a wonderfully versatile range of garments underpinned by an ethical and loving story.
